About
Dusty Limits is a singer, actor, comic, writer and director and one of the most celebrated figures on the UK's cabaret scene. Described by Time Out London as 'The Trailblazer', he has been at the forefront of the world of 'new cabaret' for over 15 years, and has performed everywhere from New York to Berlin, all over the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand as well as being a mainstay of the Edinburgh Fringe. He is noted for his powerful voice, three-octave range, and skills as an interpreter of song, especially the repertoire of the Weimar era, the works of Weill, and such songsmiths as Bowie, Waits, Brel and Mitchell. He is also a writer of note, and his first album with long-time collaborator Michael Roulston, entitled Grin, was released earlier this year to great acclaim. He has won the London Cabaret Award for 'Best Compere/Host' no fewer than three times, the only artist to do so.
